KKG Name: Shinrai no Uragiri
Component Elements: N/A
Appearance:
None inherently, however, the Curse Mark which is a requirement for Advancement has a unique appearance:
Spoiler:

Description:
Shinrai no Uragiri, otherwise known as "Betrayal Of Trust" is a KKG which is named for the fact that most who are born with such are often tempted toward betraying allies and others who grow close to them in order to empower the abilities given to them through this bloodline. The bloodline itself has dubious origins, although it is known that the bloodline grants its users extraordinary survival capabilities beyond the pale of ordinary shinobi at the cost of making themselves less and less trustworthy to those who know of their Clan and its exploits - something which can greatly interfere with their ability to gain further power, meaning that a delicate balance between being a genuinely trustworthy individual and killing others for their own gain must be struck if one wishes to advance this particular bloodline further.

It is also important to note that, in order to advance beyond the First Advancement, the user must place a Curse Mark upon themselves through means of a Clan Kinjutsu which will forever mark the individual visibly in one way or another as a member of the Clan and furthermore allow them to tap into their Inhuman Endurance ability which is explained further below. Furthermore, this Curse Mark forces the individual to kill at least one other Character, PC or NPC, with Base Stats equal to at least half of their own, per every five completed Threads. If the Clan Member does not do this, they will lose access to their Clan Abilities, Stat Gains, and will furthermore begin to decay at a rate of -5 to each Base Stat Field per Thread completed without feeding their Curse Mark.

Inhuman Endurance:

Unique to the Nagai, the Inhuman Endurance ability is a passive technique which activates upon taking damage that would bring the User below 1/2 of their maximum Health. Upon this happening, the User may at their discretion choose to convert remaining Stamina into Health at a rate of 1:2, however, they will still suffer the same penalties from losing Stamina as would be typical in other shinobi.

Upon receiving lethal Damage that would otherwise kill them, a User of this ability may choose to expend all remaining Stamina, minimum of fifty, in order to remain alive with 1 Health. Converting Chakra to Stamina may be done in the same post if desired, however, normal penalties for both Stamina and Chakra depletion apply.

Requirements: Gained upon creation

Advancement:

Advancement and Mastery of this KKG is something which becomes both more fulfilling and more difficult the stronger an individual with it becomes. Furthermore, it becomes more of a risk to advance the KKG as a result of both the higher number and power of victims required.

It is important to note that the stronger a bond is with another individual, the more benefit the individual receives from absorbing their essence through the effects of the KKG, meaning that it is imperative to gain as much trust as possible with a target before choosing to betray them. This method of Advancement is much more efficient and requires less from the individual than assassinating strangers, however, doing so risks placing the individual themselves in danger if done too frequently.

Each Thread or Mission completed with an individual grant a level of Trust with that individual, with additional Trust being gained from either being in the same Village, Faction, Clan, or other Group. Once an amount of Trust is accumulated depending on the next Advancement available, the individual may then be killed to serve as a prerequisite for the overall requirements for that Advancement.

It is important to note, however, that these Advancements must be done in order and must be completed from the level gained depending on the Rank of the individual at Creation in parenthesis beside each Advancement.

Trust is determined as follows:

Number of Threads / Missions Completed (Minimum 2) + Faction (0 if not, 1 if so.) + Squad (0 if not, 1 if so.) + Clan (0 if not, 1 if so.) + Village (0 if not, 1 if so.)

Advancement Requirements:

Advancement One: (D-Rank / Genin)
Kill a Stranger of C-Rank or Higher or any individual with at least three Trust.

Must have Curse Mark to proceed further.

Advancement Two: (C-Rank / Chuunin)
Kill a Stranger of B-Rank or Higher or any individual with at least six Trust.

Advancement Three: (B-Rank / Jounin)
Kill two Strangers of A-Rank or Higher or any individual with at least ten Trust.

Advancement Four: (A-Rank / ANBU)
Kill two Strangers of S-Rank or Higher or any individual with at least fifteen Trust.

Advancement Five: (S-Rank / Sanin)
Kill four Strangers of S-Rank or Higher or any individual with at least twenty-five Trust.

Advancement Six: (SS-Rank / Kage)
Kill eight Strangers of S-Rank or Higher or any two individuals with at least fifty Trust.

Advancement Rewards:
Advancement One: (D-Rank / Genin)

  • Base Endurance +5
  • Base Health +5
  • No Inhuman Endurance uses.

Advancement Two: (C-Rank / Chuunin)

  • Base Endurance +5

  • Up to three Inhuman Endurance uses per Thread.

Advancement Six: (SS-Rank / Kage)

  • Base Health +20
